HELPING YOURSELF
You have
resources to heal yourself. No matter how big or small the
issue is, you can deal with it. All the answers are within you.
Every time you are stirred up by something in your life, take
time to reflect upon it so you can heal that part of you.
1. Be
aware of what or who stirred you up, the trigger.
2.
Take a deep breath.
3. Ask
yourself the following questions:

Where is this reaction/emotion really coming
from?
-
Is this reaction/emotion helping me anymore?
-
Do I want to keep it?
-
Is there anything I need to know about this
past situation in order to let it go?
-
What do I need to do in order to let this go?
-
What do I need to give myself in order to let
this go now?
4.
Give yourself permission to let this go now.
5.
Take a deep breath.
6.
Express this part of you in some way:
-
-
Imagine this reaction/emotion/ part as a
colour and shape within your body.
-
Breathe deeply as you begin to shrink this
colour and shape down.
-
Once it’s the size of a pea or smaller then
exhale strongly as you push this old past
reaction/emotion out of your body.
-
Continue until it’s completely gone.
7.
Take yourself into the future in your mind and imagine
yourself behaving and reacting in a new way.
